TouchedThe Rhythms of Life Dance Company and A.M. Sunday and the Kentucky Arts Council are pleased to announce the performance of their 1st collaboration. TOUCHED is a new work that is based on the idea of everyday interaction with people and how those interactions touch us, both physically and emotionally. Just as their hometown of Louisville, Kentucky is the junction for roads from music towns like Chicago, St. Louis, and Memphis, A.M. Sunday is the intersection where meet Aretha Franklin, Talking Heads, James Brown, and The Clash. It's indie rock on a collision with west end soul. It's rhythm and blues by ex-punks playing 9th chords - just don't call them a funk band. The blend of A.M. Sunday's eclectic sound mixed with Rhythm of Life's exciting choreography, led by founders Jeremy Williams and Aundra LaFayette, and performed by the energetic company of dancers. TOUCHED will be performed at the Kentucky Center's Bomhard Theatre on April 9th and 10th; curtain at 8:00 PM. Tickets will go on sale February 6th at the Kentucky Center and all Ticketmaster locations. $15.00 for Adults, $10.00 for Students, Seniors, and groups of 10 or more. For tickets call 584-7777, 1-800-775-7777, or visit www.kentuckycenter.org or www.ticketmaster.com.
